Ashtamangal Mandap
Mandap (Ashtamangal) is a brass plate with five concentric circles at the center and eight auspicious symbols engraved in the periphery. It is used as a temporary platform in place of a hand-drawn mandap in front of a person or deities while worshipping. The eight auspicious symbols in the periphery have different meanings and are considered auspicious and make the prayers divine. Most commonly used during Bhaitika, these mandaps are one of the most wanted accessories for Puja these days.
