Description

Murchunda is a traditional musical instrument of the Kirati community. It is played by plucking its metal reed with a forefinger being gripped between the teeth. The beating controls its volume. Today, people also use it as a badge and wear it proudly in cultural programs and events. The beautiful hand-carved cover in bamboo adds life to it.
